We DEMAND Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) raise graduation standards in order to ensure students are equipped for post-secondary success.

Most colleges in the UNC system require a 2.5 GPA for admission, yet there isn't a GPA requirement for students to graduate from CMS high schools. Programs like credit recovery are being abused to boost graduation numbers for the district, yet leave students unprepared for college or career.

Uniformity - One uniform system of credit recovery across CMS
Transparency - Informed parental consent for students enrolling in credit recovery
Accountability - A minimum 2.0 GPA or CTE certification graduation requirement
